ABOUT LOOPFEST

LOOP is a community venue in Shrewsbury run by the team at LOOPFEST. You can find us at 13A Castle Foregate, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY1 2DJ.

LOOPFEST is one of Shropshire’s most unique festivals. We wanted to create an event about championing musicians and artists from Shrewsbury, across Shropshire and the UK/World. What makes our event different from other festivals, is that our focus is on bringing this Shropshire town to life by filling as many venues as possible with music and providing a fun and safe atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. All profits reinvested into our community venue LOOP, supporting the grassroots musicians who perform at LOOPFEST.

LOOPFEST is a five-day multi-venue music festival in Shrewsbury, Shropshire held on Wed 28th to Sun 2nd May 2027.

To date, every one of our festivals has always been family-orientated and fun for people of all ages. Some venues have specific licensing conditions, but we have a range of entertainment that allows everyone to join.

We have broken sales and footfall records for three consecutive years. In 2026 footfall broke all records with over 125,000 visitors attending the town. So it’s safe to say that LOOPFEST is one of the biggest festivals in Shropshire.

LOOPFEST is not free to enter the main venues – you can get your tickets at our partner site TICKETLOOP however we do have number of free fringe events happening on the Saturday and Sunday of LOOPFEST.

We offer a discounted ticket to LOOPFEST for carers, to grab your ticket please visit: https://ticketloop.co.uk.

We don’t allow dogs at our main sites. Other fringe events are at the individual businesses discretion.

We have an incredible diversity of food retailers in Shrewsbury town centre, so we’re keen to support those local businesses for our event. But we will welcome a select number of Shropshire-based food traders to join us at our event, as we will provide food and refreshments at LOOPFEST operated sites.
