If you want to visit LOOPFEST you can find out the price of tickets from our partner TICKETLOOP – prices go up the closer we get to the event.
If you buy a fringe event ticket, you won’t be issued a free weekend ticket, sorry.
If the wristband is removed, you will need to purchase a new one at a box office at The Quarry.
LOOPFEST is designed to be welcoming for families, but age restrictions vary depending on the venue, event type and time of day.
The Quarry
Our main festival site at The Quarry is all ages. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+) at all times.
LOOP, The Hive and St Mary’s Church
To help us manage evening environments and ensure events remain appropriate and comfortable for everyone, these venues operate a 14+ policy after 7:00pm during LOOPFEST. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+) and may remain until 10:30pm.
Other venues across the festival
Age policies are set by individual venues and may vary depending on their premises licence, event content and operating arrangements. Please check individual listings before travelling.
Please note:
- Entry to all venues remains subject to capacity
- Some performances may contain loud music, lighting effects, strong language or themes more suited to older audiences
- Venues reserve the right to refuse entry where attendance would not be suitable or safe
- Standard alcohol laws and venue conditions continue to apply
What items are prohibited?
Your safety at LOOPFEST is paramount and we continuously liaise with the appropriate authorities to ensure robust security measures are in place. In order to ensure this is a safe environment mandatory bag searches will be carried out and we may search you, your clothing or other items.
Several items are prohibited, these include but are not exhausted to:
• Glass,
• Alcohol,
• Food & Drink – should you need to bring an item of food or drink with you due to medical or religious requirements, please contact the event organiser prior to arrival.
• Large, professional cameras,
• Recording equipment,
• Chairs & foldout blankets (allowed in The Quarry site but not inside the Big Top for capacity reasons),
• Large sports umbrellas (small, personal umbrellas are permitted),
• Bags larger than A3 size (30cm x 42cm x 19cm)
