At LOOPFEST, we want to foster a love of live music from an early age — which is why our festival is proudly family-friendly at all LOOPFEST-operated sites. Alongside our programme of live music, we host a wide range of activities for children and young people across the weekend.

We believe in nurturing creativity across generations, and we invite families to celebrate music and culture together through interactive workshops, performances and hands-on experiences.

Live Music

LOOPFEST is packed with incredible live music — and children are welcome at all LOOPFEST-operated sites during the day. Whether it’s catching a brass band, dancing to DJs, or discovering your new favourite artist, we want families to experience the joy of live music together.

Many of our daytime venues are spacious and accessible, with a relaxed atmosphere that’s perfect for all ages.

Musical Workshops

Take part in music workshops and explore different instruments and genres with our team of professional musicians. Join in for a super exciting singalong or work together to compose a song.

Children’s Entertainment

LOOPFEST isn’t just for grown-ups — we offer a range of fun, engaging activities for younger audiences too. From storytelling and music-making to surprising pop-up performances, there’s plenty to keep kids entertained across the weekend.
