LOOPFEST 2027 – OUR BIGGEST YEAR YET

LOOPFEST returns to Shrewsbury from 29th April to 2nd May 2027, and we’re getting ready for our biggest festival yet!

Following a record-breaking 2026, which saw around 250 acts performing across 40 venues, bringing thousands of music lovers into Shrewsbury, LOOPFEST is taking another exciting step forward.

For 2027, we’re expanding into The Quarry, bringing major touring artists, live music and comedy to one of Shrewsbury’s most iconic settings.

But while the festival continues to grow, the heart of LOOPFEST remains exactly where it started – in the pubs, bars, independent venues and community spaces that make Shrewsbury such a brilliant place for live music.

Our grassroots venues, independent businesses, local musicians and incredible volunteers are what make LOOPFEST special, and they’ll remain at the centre of everything we do.

From intimate gigs in the town’s pubs and bars to thousands of people enjoying live music in The Quarry, LOOPFEST 2027 will bring together the very best of both worlds.

We’ve already announced Ocean Colour Scene and Sleeper for Friday 30th April, with plenty more artists, events and surprises still to be revealed across the four days.

Whether you’ve been with us since the beginning or you’re discovering LOOPFEST for the first time, we can’t wait to welcome you to Shrewsbury for another unforgettable weekend.
