INTRODUCING THE LOOP PROJECT

There’s more to LOOP than the festival. We’re building something that supports live music, emerging artists and the creative community all year round, with LOOP Venue at the heart of it.

Based in the centre of Shrewsbury, LOOP Venue is the main hub for The LOOP Project, providing a home for live performances, creative collaborations and a growing community of musicians, artists and music lovers.

Through The LOOP Project, we’re working to shine a spotlight on the people making music happen, from exciting emerging talent to established touring artists, while creating opportunities for musicians to perform, collaborate and reach new audiences.

A key part of this is LOOP Sessions, our growing series of live performances and video recordings, capturing artists in an intimate setting and sharing their music with audiences far beyond the venue.

But it’s about more than putting on gigs or filming performances. We want LOOP Venue to be a place where artists can develop, new ideas can take shape and people can connect through music.

Alongside LOOPFEST, which brings thousands of people into Shrewsbury each year, The LOOP Project helps us build something lasting, supporting grassroots music and creativity throughout the year.

Whether it’s discovering a new favourite band, catching an intimate live session or getting involved in the local music scene, there’s always something happening at LOOP.
